Pricing of Projects
Τhe pricing of translation projects is a complex process and depends on a number of factors. The basis for pricing is the volume of the project, as expressed in terms of the number of words in the original text. Conventionally, a "translation page" is defined internationally as 250 words of the original text, which is the minimum, basic charge of our office for any translation work. Thereafter, many different factors come into play in determining the final price of a translation, such as the rarity of the language pair, the existence of special terminology in the text (e.g. medical, technical, legal terminology), the deadline for completion, special formatting requirements (e.g. complex tables, diagrams, etc.). It should be noted that the pricing of a single retail project is quite different from the pricing of multi-page translation projects, large volumes of documents or the long-term stable cooperation with our office. Our translation office offers significant discounts to clients with a large volume of work or a long-term, stable cooperation, which in some cases can amount to as much as the half of the original price. Similar principles govern the pricing of editing and proofreading of texts and the translation and localisation of websites and software. Our translation office offers significant discounts to clients with a large volume of work or if we have enjoyed a long-term, stable cooperation. In some instance, this discount can reduce the original price by up to 50%. Similar principles apply for the pricing of editing and proofreading of texts and the translation and localisation of websites and software.

Our aim is to accommodate the full range of our clients, tailoring our services and pricing to their personal needs and financial backgrounds.
Οn the other hand, real time interpretation or subtitling services are governed by a completely different pricing logic. A key factor in the evaluation of such projects is the time required to complete them, and the estimated man-hours. Understandably, the details of such an assessment are impossible to be described within the framework of a short addressing of the matter.
Additional charges apply for projects where legal validation of the translation or the document is necessary. In such cases a reasonable legal fee and other costs, such as validation stamps, should be calculated. Such cases are rare and specific, are described in the law and mainly concern public documents and transactions with public authorities (e.g., naturalisation procedure, visas and residence permit, court documents, recognition of foreign degrees, or participation in the procedures of the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection - ASEP). If there is a need for legal validation, you will receive prompt and reliable information.
