GRANTING OF GREEK CITIZENSHIP TO MINORS WHO ARE BORN AND ATTEND A GREEK SCHOOL IN GREECE

For some years now, more and more of our fellow citizens of foreign origin have chosen to reside permanently in our country and to also apply for Greek citizenship, as long as, of course, their period of permanent residence in Greece and the other necessary conditions permit this. In a series of articles, the translation office METAFRASIS in Kavala and our branch in Thassos, breaks down, in detail, the various cases of naturalisation of foreigners and the legal framework governing each of them. METAFRASIS undertakes the complete processing of the case-files of our foreign clients applying for Greek citizenship from the beginning to the very end of the process. Our office provides official - certified translations of all the necessary documents as well as the checking or completion of the case-files before submission, and thus help our clients avoid any inconvenience and extra costs that result from mistakes or oversights.

In our second article, of today’s date, we present the legal framework governing the naturalisation of minors of foreign origin, born in Greece and attending a Greek school. In our future articles, which will be uploaded soon, we will analyse additional cases of granting of Greek citizenship to foreign nationals
